B-header 1.0 is a free, open source application prototype developed in Tcl scripting language by computer networking student Antonio Gil as part of his MasterĀ“s dissertation project at Napier University, Edinburgh. In a nutshell, B-header can be thought of as a simplified packet analyzer that parses and decodes headers of IP packets that get stored inside the buffer of Cisco routers to present them in a human readable format. B-header scripts can be installed in any Cisco router running an IOS image that support Tcl scripting. You can find more information on this website.
